UAE retail sukuk: 5.06% annual profit; subscription deadline 28 September

Updated: Sep 28

The UAE Ministry of Finance announced a second sovereign retail T-Sukuk issuance on 17 September 2026, with a five-year term and a minimum subscription of AED 1,000. The programme is aimed at UAE nationals and residents. Update, 28 September 2026: WAM reported on 22 September that the annual profit rate is 5.06%, paid semi-annually. The announced subscription period is 23–28 September; no precise closing hour was provided, so current availability must be checked with the official channel.

The ministry lists DFM eIPO, iVestor, the DFM app and participating banks’ digital channels as subscription routes. Listing and secondary-market trading on Nasdaq Dubai are planned after allocation and settlement. Check the official offer documents for eligibility and subscription dates; this announcement alone does not mean subscriptions are currently open.

Investor context: these are sovereign sukuk, not company shares. Government backing does not remove resale-price or liquidity risk. This report is news, not a personalised investment recommendation. Update source: WAM, 22 September 2026. Allocation is scheduled for 29 September, issuance/refunds for 30 September and Nasdaq Dubai trading for 1 October, after settlement. Contractual profit is not a guaranteed resale return.
